The LG Twins have won four games in a row. They secured the 'El Locacion Winning Series'.

LG won 2-1 against the Lotte Giants in the regular season of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League at Sajik Stadium in Busan on Nov. 11.

With the win, LG extended its winning streak to four games and secured the 'El Locacion' Winning Series. 22 wins, 18 losses, and 2 draws on the season. Lotte lost its second straight match after five straight wins. Their record is now 13-24-1-1.

Neither team was able to score easily. A tight pitching battle continued. LG struck first in the second inning. In the top of the second, Kim Bum-seok led off with a single to right. Go Seung-min hit a line drive to the right field fence, but was thrown out at second base. LG right fielder Hong Chang-ki's pen play and throw were perfect. It put runners at first and third. After Reyes walked, Jeon Jun-woo singled to left center with runners on first and third. Pinch-hitter Kim Min-seok singled up the middle to put runners on second and third, but Yoo Kang-nam grounded out to shortstop to end the threat. LG starter Son Joo-young picked up his second win of the season with six innings of four-hit ball, one walk and seven strikeouts. At the plate, Park Dong-won went 3-for-4 with one home run, one RBI and two runs scored, while Moon Sung-ju went 2-for-4 with a double and a super catch to prevent a long ball.

Closer Yoo Young-chan came on in a tough save situation with runners on first and third in the eighth inning and gave up a run with the bases loaded to preserve the win. Lotte was unable to capitalize on its final opportunity in the ninth inning as the bottom of the lineup went lethargic.

LOTTE got a quality start from Wilkerson, who threw 109 pitches over six innings, allowing two runs on nine hits (one homer) with one walk and six strikeouts, but the offense was silent.
