The Fantastic Four: First Steps - Marvel is back
Set in a retro-futuristic New York of Earth-828, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a fantastic addition to the already expansive multiverse we see in the MCU. The central theme of the movie revolves around family and treating everyone as such, as the four face a galactic planetary threat. The Silver Surfer looked incredible and posed a significant challenge for the four while they attempted to save Earth.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps on Flixtor is an excellent superhero film that contributes to the impressive collection of Marvel classics. I understand that The Fantastic Four has been a contentious topic for many years due to the studios' struggles to create a successful film adaptation. However, Matt Shannan nailed it with his direction and the casting of our superheroes, led by the talented Pedro Pascal. Pedro excels in his role as Mister Fantastic, and Vanessa Kirby shines as Sue Storm. The visuals are outstanding, and the story is engaging enough to warrant your time.

Additionally, it lays the groundwork for upcoming Marvel projects set to release soon. My two main criticisms are that I wish we had more screen time with the character Shalla-Bal, portrayed by Julia Garner, and that the main villain, Galactus, could have had more presence and been more intimidating. I truly appreciated how they captured a futuristic 60's vibe; everything felt both familiar and new at the same time, if that makes sense. This film has made me a bigger fan of the Fantastic Four, and I believe it will have the same effect on you.
