Kim Woo-jin, Lim Si-hyun top final first-round archery team for Paris Olympics

Kim Woo-jin (Cheongju City Hall) and Lim Im-hyun (Korea Gymnastics Federation) took first place in the men's and women's archery at the final first round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Kim Woo-jin finished first with a total score of 41 points at the final first round of the 2024 Olympic archery team trials on Monday at the Kim Soonyeong Archery Center in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do.

Kim Jeduk (Yecheon-gun) was second (35.5 points) and Lee Woo-seok (Kolon) was third (32.5 points).

Oh Jin-hyuk (Hyundai Steel) finished last out of eight archers (12 points).

The Korea Archery Federation will select three athletes from each gender to compete in major international competitions, 안전놀이터 including the Paris Olympics, based on the combined scores of the first trial and the second trial, which will be held next month from May 5-11 at the Jinho International Archery Center in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk.

For the women's team, Lim took first place in the first trial with a total score of 33 points.

Choi Mi-seon (Gwangju Bank) was second (32 points) and Jeon Hoon-young (Incheon City Hall) was third (28 points).

In the compound team, which is comprised of four men and four women, Yang Jae-won (Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and So Chae-won (Hyundai Mobis) led the men and women, respectively.
