Doosan starter Kim Yoo-sung, 22, was sent to the second team after failing to overcome his pitching struggles.

The Doosan Bears have removed right-hander Kim Yoo-seong from their first-team roster ahead of the fifth game of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League against the KT Wiz at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Wednesday.

Kim struggled in his last start against KT on April 10, giving up two runs on two hits and three walks in 1 1/3 innings. He tossed a scoreless first inning, the most difficult for starters, but gave up a 2-0 lead in the top of the second when he walked Jang Jang-woo, singled to right, walked Kim Min-hyuk, walked Hwang Jae-gyun, and then gave up a fielder's choice by Kim Gun-hyung to load the bases against Shin Bon-ki.
